The story of six characters as they grapple with the vulnerability and insecurity of enduring aspects of undefined relationships.

This show consisted of many transitions jumping between 3 storylines. Actors changed characters to change the dynamics of each relationship. I composed transition themes each couples' stories (1&2, 3&4, and 5&6), and as each storyline progressed more elements of intensity were added. Here is each theme with their progressions.

Act 1, Scene 5 from A Thousand Splendid Suns by Ursula Rani Sarma Adapted from the novel by Khaled Hosseini
Directed by Dale Clark
"Born a generation apart and with very different ideas about love and family, Mariam and Laila are two women brought jarringly together by war, by loss, and by fate. As they endure the ever-escalating dangers around them--in their home, as well as in the streets of Kabul--they come to form a bond that makes them both sisters and mother-daughter to each other" -- from the script, page 4
